A convergence of biomechanics, neurofunctional acupuncture, sports chiropractic, rehabilitation, and performance psychology — combined into a single, high-efficiency treatment system for those who demand the most from their bodies.
Most practitioners treat the symptom. The Compound Method treats the system. Because no single modality holds all the answers — but the right combination, applied with precision, changes everything.
Most practitioners are specialists. The Compound Method is something different — a unified framework that draws from five evidence-based disciplines to address not just where you hurt, but why you hurt, how your body moves, and what it's capable of.
Each session is not a treatment. It's a recalibration.
Begin Your AssessmentThe foundation of every assessment. There are precise ways the human body is designed to move — and deviations from that blueprint are often the root cause of injury, pain, and diminished performance. Every session begins here.
Precision needle therapy targeting the neuromuscular system. Combining traditional acupuncture meridian work with evidence-based dry needling to reset muscle function, reduce pain, and accelerate healing at the neurological level.
Advanced spinal and joint manipulation tailored to the demands of athletic performance. Sports-specific, biomechanically-informed adjustments that restore range of motion, reduce restriction, and protect against reinjury.
Returning from injury isn't just about recovery — it's about building the capacity your body lacked that caused the injury in the first place. Strength, mobility, and functional movement work drawn from elite-level strength & conditioning principles.
The mental relationship to injury is almost universally overlooked in clinical settings. Fear of reinjury, movement avoidance, and psychological guarding are real physiological limiters. Addressing the mental side of healing is not optional — it's part of the protocol.
I am a Doctor of Chiropractic, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner — a biomechanist and rehabilitation specialist based in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. My practice is intentionally small — a maximum of ten clients per week — because elite clinical care cannot be scaled without sacrificing quality.
My background spans professional squash, collegiate athletics, and executive performance. For two and a half years I served as the exclusive on-call provider for Team USA Squash, traveling internationally with athletes to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
The Compound Method emerged from years of recognizing that no single discipline was sufficient on its own. The athletes who recovered fastest, performed longest, and stayed healthiest were the ones receiving care that addressed biomechanics, neuromuscular function, structural alignment, rehabilitation, and mindset simultaneously.
Every engagement begins with a comprehensive assessment. From there, the path forward is entirely personalized — no templates, no protocols borrowed from someone else's body.
Your first session is a full biomechanical and clinical intake. Movement screening, postural analysis, history review, and a working diagnosis — followed by an initial treatment. This is where we establish your baseline and map the path forward together.
The flagship Compound Method session. A 60-minute deep-dive combining acupuncture, dry needling, chiropractic adjustment, and rehabilitation work — tailored to your current presentation and long-term goals. This is the core of the practice.
For established clients with a known care plan. A focused 30-minute session targeting specific, recurring issues — ideal for in-season athletes managing load or anyone with a well-understood body that simply needs recalibration.
Four full sessions per month at a preferred rate. Designed for clients who want consistent, proactive care rather than reactive treatment. Priority scheduling, continuity of care, and the compounding benefits of regular session work built into your routine.
For squash clubs, athletic academies, professional organizations, and high-net-worth individuals who require a higher level of access and availability. A retainer-based arrangement providing dedicated session blocks, on-site availability, tournament coverage, and direct communication — without competing for a standard appointment slot.
This practice is intentionally small. There are a maximum of ten active clients at any given time, and new clients are accepted by application only — typically through referral from a current client, coach, or colleague.
If you've been referred, or if you believe The Compound Method is the right fit for where you are in your athletic or professional life, I'd like to hear from you.

After six months of physical therapy at a well-known PT office, I hit a plateau and feared surgery was inevitable. Through sports acupuncture, chiropractic, and functional rehab, I've completely rehabbed my shoulder. I haven't seen anyone else in Philadelphia offering this triple-threat approach. Dr. Kaye is extremely passionate, makes you feel at ease, and gives you a detailed plan to get out of pain — and stay out of it.
Dr. Kaye changed my perspective on medicine entirely. We fixed a herniated disc without surgery, and he gave me the tools to bulletproof the vulnerable parts of my body. Being in the army and a full-time lifter, this kind of work is genuinely priceless. His services are worth every penny.
Dr. Kaye really knows his stuff. I had a foot injury and he immediately knew exactly what was going on and created a plan. His treatments have helped me enormously — and his energy and commitment to every person who walks through his door is something you feel from the first session.
I went from struggling to get into the bottom position of a snatch to PRing my lifts at the American Open. Dr. Kaye doesn't just treat — he educates. I left understanding my own body, why these issues were happening, and how to navigate them going forward. Cannot recommend or thank him enough.
A single session of neurofunctional acupuncture removed discomfort that hadn't gone away in over a month. More than that, Dr. Kaye genuinely recognizes how injuries can be mentally debilitating — he helped me see that I wasn't broken. His whole-body approach to healing is something I've never experienced anywhere else.
My podiatrist told me to never go barefoot again. After working with Dr. Kaye, I walk around barefoot with zero foot pain. What sets him apart is his whole-body approach — he addressed my plantar fasciitis and back issues simultaneously. I always leave having learned something new. That kind of generosity is rare in healthcare.
